Never, ever in a million years did I think that I was worthy of the Etsy Front Page... Kate Spade and Polyvore

Browsing one of my favorite blogs, Sorellina, I stumbled upon this AWESOME contest over at Polyvore. They have teamed up with Kate Spade and are letting us regular folks put together design boards dedicated to living your life colorfully. Something I think I do pretty well... Above is one of the few boards I have put together. WARNING: These are addictive.

Golden Birthday

Today is my "Golden Birthday"! I am 26 on July 26-something else kinda cool-I was born at 7:26 AM on 7/26/84... So I guess this means it is my SUPER Golden Birthday.

Now if you will excuse me, I need to go eat some of the chocolate cake that my dear co-workers brought me.

Mary Keeley: Meme* said there is a TEDDY BEAR animal walking around her backyard! Haha-she’s going around with a cane poking the bushes…

Me: What the hell...

Mary Keeley: bahahahaha

Me: What is a teddy bear animal?!

Mary Keeley: She said-“ Oh, looked out the sliding glass door an hour ago and a big brown teddy bear looking animal was slowly crossing the patio...by the time I got out there armed with telephone and my walking stick it had disappeared. It is larger than Dootsey** and she would try to take it on if she sees it!!”

Me: I literally cannot stop laughing.

Fall Fabric Preview

Just a little preview of some fabric I have ordered for fall! I can't wait for it to come in and I can let my imagination run wild! I am especially digging the dark gray and black print. I think it will be super sophisticated for Fall.

I am overwhelmed right now. I have a lot going on and feel like I can't get everything done. I feel unorganized and dysfunctional. I also have been deceived which makes me feel dirty and violated. I feel like this little guy in the picture. I wish there were more hours in the day. I wish I didn't procrastinate so dang much. I wish I could feel in control again...

I think I will have a margarita at lunch.

Happy Friday friends! I got together last night with a pretty swell group of ladies to play our monthly game of Bunko and guess what.... I WON! THE. WHOLE. POT. Yup-that's right-14 wins and 2 Bunkos! It was my first time taking home that much money and was so exciting!

I might have to purchase this little guy to ensure that my winning streak continues! I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend!

New Items in the Shop!

I added some new Twist Necklaces to my Etsy Shop last night! I LOVE these necklaces!!! They are the perfect amount of casual but still make a statement with any outfit! Oh, and they are made from recycled jersey fabric so they are very eco-friendly...

On another note-my birthday is coming up! The big 2-6. Over the next few days, don't be surprised if you see a few "Birthday Wish-List" items pop up on here... :)

Outfit Envy

Do you ever see an outfit that you want to snatch off the person wearing it's back? Or run up to them and ask them where they got every item?! I do. A lot.

That is exactly how I felt when I saw this fantastic J. Crew-inspired outfit over on Kristen's blog Sorellina. I love EVERYTHING about this outfit and I am pretty sure I could come up with something similar out of my very own closet.

I hope Kristen posts more of her outfits because Iwanttocopythem and because I think sheissostinkingcute. I also just want you all to know that you should visit her blog because it is awesome and because I don't want to be the only freak that stalks her.
